Here's what you'll learn:
Course Description
This continuing education webinar provides a comprehensive review of the legal, regulatory, and ethical considerations essential to safe and compliant practice in medical aesthetics. Led by Alice Tudor, CRNA, this session explores key principles of scope of practice, documentation standards, informed consent, and risk mitigation strategies, with additional focus on regulatory considerations related to peptides and injectable treatments.
As the field of aesthetic medicine continues to evolve, providers must navigate increasingly complex regulatory frameworks, including distinctions between FDA-approved, compounded, and research-use substances. This activity is designed to strengthen clinical decision-making through a deeper understanding of legal and compliance standards, helping providers reduce liability while maintaining ethical, patient-centered care.
Participants will engage in a structured review of:
Scope of practice considerations across licensure levels
Legal responsibilities and regulatory oversight in aesthetic practice
Regulatory classifications of peptides, including FDA-approved, compounded, and research-use substances
Documentation standards and informed consent requirements
Risk management strategies to support safe and compliant care
Common areas of legal vulnerability in medical aesthetics
This activity is intended for licensed healthcare professionals involved in aesthetic practice, including registered nurses and advanced practice providers.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, the learner will be able to:
Identify scope of practice parameters relevant to aesthetic providers based on licensure and regulatory standards
Differentiate regulatory classifications of peptides, including FDA-approved, compounded, and research-use substances, and their implications for clinical practice
Describe key legal and ethical responsibilities associated with aesthetic practice, including informed consent and documentation requirements
Recognize common areas of legal risk and vulnerability in medical aesthetics, particularly related to injectable treatments and emerging therapies
Apply risk management strategies to support safe, compliant, and ethical patient care
Integrate legal and regulatory knowledge into clinical decision-making to reduce liability and improve practice standards

The Art of Marketing for Aesthetic Practices
Here's what you'll learn:
Master Instagram First. Instagram is the #1 platform for aesthetic providers — it functions as both a social platform and a search engine. Before spreading yourself across TikTok, Facebook, or others, master Instagram. Consistency on one platform will always outperform inconsistency on many.
Your Content Has One Job: Build Trust Before the Consultation. Most clients have already researched providers and formed opinions before they ever reach out. Your posts, before & afters, and captions are doing the selling — the consultation just closes it.
Great Posts Follow a Formula. High-performing content isn't accidental — it has a hook, good lighting, clear visuals, a call to action, and relevant hashtags. Don't chase virality; focus on adding value and showing up consistently.
Your Email List is the Only Audience You Truly Own. Social algorithms change overnight — your email list doesn't. A well-crafted newsletter with consistent value, clear CTAs, and strategic (not constant) promotions converts better than any social post.
Consistency Converts — Not Perfection. A potential client needs to see your content an average of 7+ times before they take action. Showing up regularly and authentically — even imperfectly — will always outperform waiting until everything feels ready.
We can't wait to see you there!
